Policies & Procedures
Please review our policies and procedures. We hope that you find them helpful as you begin the process of joining our AcroSports programs. To ensure the safety of our students, the consistency of our programs, and to provide the best value to you and your family, these policies will be strictly enforced.
Trial Classes
AcroSports is pleased to offer your child a free trial class on a space available basis. The process is simple - just call our office, and we will help you find a class at a day and time that is convenient for you, subject to availability. The time and date of your free class may be different from the class you choose to permanently sign up for. You will not be charged a Registration Fee until you have chosen your permanent class. We will hold the spot in your child’s trial class for 24 hours in order for you to make a decision on enrollment. After 24 hours the spot will be released if enrollment is not confirmed.
Class Enrollment- Year Round
Students are welcome to enroll anytime. Please contact us to find an open class at a day and time that works for your schedule. We will pro-rate your tuition if your child is starting their class mid-month. Students are assumed to be enrolled during the year round session until a drop notice is received. Drop notices must be sent my email to drop@acrosports.com by the 15th of the student’s last month to avoid future billing. Students will stay in their same class each month, guaranteeing their spot in their chosen class, unless a class change or drop notice has been received.
Absence and Make-up Policy
Make-ups can be done at any time during the year round session on a space available basis as long as your child continues to be enrolled in our program. They are on a first-come, first-served basis. Make-ups are limited to one make-up per month. We cannot guarantee the same time, day, or teacher for your make-up. Please call the office to schedule your make-up class. Make-ups can only be scheduled one (1) at a time and only up to one (1) week in advance. If you are unable to attend your scheduled make-up class, you must call our office in advance to cancel or reschedule. If you no-show to a make-up class, you will not be permitted to reschedule. Make-ups must be done while your child is enrolled in the program and are not permitted after you withdraw from classes.
Tuition Payments
All of our AcroSports tuition charges are billed automatically to your card on file on the 1st of each month. A late fee of $15 will be applied if payment is not made by the 3rd day of the current month. Any check that has to be re-deposited will also incur a $35 handling fee that will be billed automatically to your credit card on file. In the event that a credit card is denied and payment is not made by the 15th of the month, the child will be dropped immediately from class. Unpaid tuition and fees will remain on your child’s account, and you will not be able to re-enroll or register for any events until the balance is paid in full. Once a tuition payment is billed it is non-refundable.
Annual Registration Fee
There is a registration fee of $35 per student due upon enrollment. A new registration fee will then be paid yearly on the 1st of their anniversary month. For instance, if you enroll in August of 2023, your registration fee will be good until the following August of 2024. Annual registration fees are charged yearly unless a drop notice is received. Registration fees also cover our special Show-Off celebrations, which are held before Christmas and at the end of May. During Show-Off weeks, each student is given a chance to perform for their family and friends and is awarded a Show-Offs medal. There is no extra charge for Show-Offs! Please understand that registration fees are non-refundable.
Discounts
If your child takes multiple classes per week, you will receive 15% off additional classes. We also offer a $5 sibling discount for each additional child enrolled from the same family. Please see the front desk for military and first responder discounts. AcroKids Academy childcare students are eligible to enroll in classes during childcare hours at discounted rates. Please refer to our AcroKids section for details.
Emergency Cancellations
If a class must be cancelled due to an unexpected emergency, poor weather conditions, or a facility-related incident, a make-up class will be available. Please make sure that your email address on file is current since we will use email first to alert customers of an emergency closure.
Security
Your child’s safety is our primary concern. Students are not allowed to leave our building or be in the parking lot without a parent or responsible adult. Our parking lots are busy, so please carefully supervise your children while walking to and from your car. Children must be picked up immediately after their classes end. The AcroSports staff is not available to supervise children after classes and a fine will be assessed for late pickups. AcroSports assumes no liability for any lost or stolen items, either inside the buildings or in the parking lots.
Dropping a Class
AcroSports understands that sometimes circumstances require students to withdraw or take a break from their class. However, we know from 40 years of teaching that progress for your child is made over long periods of time and nothing can be gained by starting and stopping classes. We also know that students often take weeks if not months to get into the complete enjoyment of the class and should be given adequate time to acclimate to their class structure. Fortunately, we recognize that sometimes family circumstances change and class participation has to be postponed. For these circumstances, AcroSports offers a very easy and straightforward process for dropping a class. An emailed drop notice must be sent to drop@acrosports.com prior to the 15th day of your child’s last month of class. Verbal notice, phone messages, or notice to instructors does not meet this requirement. All emails are date stamped so there will be no question as to when AcroSports was notified of a drop notice. During the last month of classes AcroSports will automatically bill your last month as usual, then your child will be dropped from class and future billing will be cancelled at the end of their last month.
