After School Program Information
Our after school students come to us from numerous schools in Clear Creek ISD and Friendswood ISD. A
croKids is open from the end of the school day to 6:30pm for after school care. During school holidays, breaks, and summer camp we are open for full day childcare from 6:30am-6:30pm. We pick up children at their school dismissal time on all early release days.
For our after school program, our drivers pick up the children at their school dismissal time, and follow VERY strict procedures for making certain every child is present and accounted for. Upon arriving at our facilities, students are first separated into their individual classrooms based on age and grade level. The students then rotate through their scheduled afternoon activities (open gym, outside play, game room, arts and crafts, homework and reading time, etc).
We believe that school-age children need to have opportunities to be active and have fun during their childcare hours. They have such busy lives these days, and we want our facility to be a safe, happy, and welcoming environment for them. We also believe that children do best among other children their same age, so we keep our school-agers separated by age and grade level.

- Daily Open Gym Playtime in all gym areas (NEW- AcroKids now has their OWN private open gym space so they can have more time to play!)

- Arts & Crafts Projects
- Themed Classroom Activities
- Supervised Homework and Reading Time
- Optional instructional skills classes (additional fees)
Our AcroKids students also have the opportunity to sign up for optional extra skills classes in gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, and cheer. These classes are available at discounted rates ONLY offered to AcroKids students.
Call-Ahead Pickup
**BONUS** We also offer a very unique “Call Ahead Pickup” system for our AcroKids students. Parents are able to call/text when they are a few minutes away from the school (we do not advocate texting and driving, so please be sure you are safely stopped if you are going to text us). We then call your child to a teacher at the front of the building and when you arrive we walk them out to you at your car. This saves parents TONS of time and hassle during the busy afternoon pick up time.
